Change the PHP Version for the cPanel

If you run your own cPanel server or use our SME hosting service, you are given the option of running different versions of PHP to suit your your requirements.

Changing the PHP version

1. Login to your cPanel control panel

2. Under Software, click MultiPHP Manager

3. For this example, the current version for this domain is PHP 5.6

To change the PHP Version, tick the box at the left-side of the domain.com, choose the preferred PHP Version from the drop-down menu, then click Apply

 

cPanel is a control panel that allows for the easy management of all elements of your web hosting account. Logging in to cPanel will bring you to a screen that looks like this:

 

Navigating is easily done in cPanel through the use of the search bar, highlighted in orange below:
