Professional Cloud Email Services for CDSS Pakistan

The Centre for Development of Social Services (CDSS) was established in 2001 to fulfill the vision of well-known banker and philanthropist Agha Hasan Abedi, Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Posthumous) of creating a township of social services for families belonging to low income groups. CDSS is registered under the Societies Act of 1980 as a recognized organization by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy, Islamabad.

(CDSS) Pakistan & INFAQ Foundation is a development-focused organization that relies heavily on email communication for managing its daily operations, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and external correspondence. Email serves as a critical communication channel for interactions with donors, partners, government institutions, beneficiaries, and internal teams. As the organization continued to expand its programs and outreach initiatives, the need for a more reliable, secure, and professionally managed email infrastructure became increasingly important.

Previously, (CDSS) Pakistan & INFAQ Foundation was utilizing Gmail-based email services, which were adequate during the early stages of operations. However, as communication requirements grew, the organization required greater control, enhanced security, centralized administration, and a more scalable email environment capable of supporting its long-term objectives. Maintaining professional communication standards while ensuring data security and service reliability became a key priority.

Recognizing the importance of email as a mission-critical business and collaboration tool, (CDSS) Pakistan & INFAQ Foundation partnered with YISolutions to migrate from Gmail Email Services to a Professional Cloud Email Platform. The new solution provides enhanced security, improved email reliability, centralized management capabilities, and a scalable infrastructure designed to support the organization’s current and future communication needs.
