What’s New in cPanel & WHM Version 130?

We’re excited to introduce the newest improvements in cPanel & WHM! Version 130 brings vital feature enhancements, user experience upgrades, and critical security updates to help you manage your hosting environments more efficiently and securely. Let’s dive into what’s new:

Panel and Hosting Experience

Account Preferences Just Got Smarter

You can now change your account password and update your contact information directly from the Account Preferences interface in cPanel. These frequently used settings are now easier to find and manage, helping users stay in control of their accounts without digging through menus.

Apache Log Format Enhancements

We’ve updated the default log format settings in WHM’s Global Configuration interface. The switch from %h to %a provides more accurate client IP logging, enhancing both diagnostics and analytics.

Secure Temporary Partition Customization

Admins can now set the size of the /tmp partition secured by securetmp via a new tweak setting. This allows greater control over temporary disk space management.
